She is majoring in Criminal Justice and Multimedia Journalism at Washington State University (WSU). Because of academics she choose WSU, which does not have a rodeo team. Josie leaves school to rodeo every weekend and is a reporter and copy editor for the WSU student-run newspaper, The Daily Evergreen.…

This is the largest scholarship amount the alumni have ever awarded to college rodeo athletes.
