Danaye was born in December of the year 1965. In that same week, the Beatles released ‘Rubber Soul’ and finished their final tour in the United Kingdom. The USSR launches Luna 8 and it crashes on the moon. ‘Charlie Brown Christmas’ is aired on CBS and is the first Peanuts animated show. The GMC Pickup was considered a great pick-up. The price of a new home averaged $13,000 and a loaf of bread ran a mere .21 cents. During that year the petite blonde, Danaye Eaton was born. Danaye is a nurse by trade and started to participate in the Senior Rodeos in 2017. A dear friend of hers, Shirley Williams encouraged her and some other roping friends to participate. Although Shirley has since passed, Danaye is grateful for all the positive encouragement she gave many of the girls competing and found great comfort in her friendship.
Danaye says the people involved in the Professional Senior Rodeo Association are kind, encouraging, genuinely kind and just down to earth people. She feels she has never made as many close knit friends in such a short amount of time in her entire lifetime. Danaye has two wonderful children, a son and a daughter, both married, as well as six grandchildren. If you hang out with Danaye on the rodeo trail you will be blessed with a positive attitude, sincere smile and laugh for all her friends. You can also bet that if the restaurant has cheesecake, Danaye will not pass it up. Knowing Danaye she will ask for another fork to share the dessert with you. For 2023 Danaye hopes the good Lord continues to bless her with good health and fast horses because she plans on spending lots of time in the arena surrounded by all of her Professional Senior Rodeo Association friends!
