Kassadee Jones is an entrepreneur.
The seventeen year old cowgirl, a member of the Utah High School Rodeo Association, works with her triplet sister Kadee, on their business, Cupcake Queens. The girls bake and decorate cupcakes and provide them for events such as weddings and birthday parties.
When she’s not baking, Kassadee competes in the barrel racing, pole bending, and rodeo queening. She is the current Summit Co. Rodeo queen, the Lehi Rodeo Queen first attendant, the UHSRA Queen second attendant, and the 2015 Pony Express Rodeo Queen.
As a senior at Lehi High School, the best part of school is being a senior and being able to choose the classes she wants to take. She is taking a cooking class, and spends part of her day at Mountainland Applied Technology College, where she will earn her nail technician’s license by the end of her high school career.
She and Kadee are known for their cream cheese frosting. It can be varied to include a strawberry or chocolate flavor, to go along with red velvet, strawberry, or chocolate cupcakes. The girls have made over 1,000 cupcakes, and Kassadee decorates them with her “signature swirl.”
After high school graduation, she will attend college and hopes to major in public relations. She’d also like to continue her rodeo queening, and will compete in the Miss Rodeo Utah pageant next summer.
She has competed at the Utah High School Finals Rodeo the past three years, in the queen pageant.
She is the oldest of the triplets, with Kadee and Klay rounding out the trio. She has two older siblings: brother Jake and sister McKenzie.
She is the daughter of Darin and Kellie Jo Jones.
