Born and raised on “The Duke”, John Wayne’s ranch in Casa Grande, Arizona Corey’s parents and his brothers were at home working the ranch. In 1984 the family went into full-time ministry continuing in the western world at rodeos and other cowboy events.
He branched out on his own in ministry in 1996 when a Bible study grew into one of the many churches he has started. Corey and his beautiful wife, Jaime, now pastor his home church, Williamson County Cowboy Church, in Liberty Hill, Texas with their two amazing children, Londyn and Seth. This church is growing and the Holy Spirit is evident there as people are saved, healed, delivered and set free all to the glory of God. Growth can be seen in the new building that can seat close to 1,000 people. He finds it a joy to pastor the wonderful people at Williamson County Cowboy Church.
Corey also continues to evangelize, and in his travels he ministered at the College National Finals in Casper, Wyoming again this year. This is one of his favorite events because there are always a lot of people who are saved and he enjoys working with college students because they are eager to learn the Word of God. He also considers it a privilege to minster at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada, a service he has also done for many years. This longevity has provided him the opportunity to continue relationships he has built with college athletes bringing current national finals rodeo contestants such as Cory Solomon, Cody and Heath DeMoss, and Shane Hanchey to speak at the service in Las Vegas. Corey also elicits the gifts of World Champion Fiddler, Ricky Boen, and Ricky’s dad, Darrell Boen at these services.
Corey stays true to his western roots competing as a professional team and steer roper himself providing him with multiple opportunities to share the gospel of Jesus while traveling to these events. The Lord is doing great things in the lives of people through Corey on the road and at home in Liberty Hill, TX.
